So much so that Hotel Alhambra Palace was the first hotel in Spain to be certified with the 14.001 Environmental and 21.401 Sustainability standards and the measures adopted for this are part of our line of work as fundamental factors.

At Hotel Alhambra Palace we are clear that, always preserving our essence and history of more than 114 years, we are firmly committed to evolving and adapting to current needs.
Its so that, our Quality and Environment plan aims to continuously improve the quality of service and environmental management at Hotel Alhambra Palace. In this way, we analyse the environmental impact of our services in order to minimise our footprint.
Our hotel complies with the international standards for sustainability in tourist accommodation, developed by the ISO Standardisation Committee.
Some of the measures adopted are the use of energy-saving light bulbs, low-phosphate or biodegradable and environmentally friendly products and appliances with class A consumption or the regulation of temperatures in accordance with governmental recommendations.
In addition, we add our project for the total elimination of plastic.
Hotel Alhambra Palace can be defined as an ecofriendly hotel in Granada. Consequently, we have included other actions that contemplate this attitude such as the use of reusable bags, electronic payment and invoicing, avoiding the use of plastics, among others.
In addition, we avoid food waste by offering different portion sizes and we keep leftover food if requested by our guests.
At Hotel Alhambra Palace we believe that change begins with ourselves. Our team is an active part in caring for the environment and sustainability. Teamwork and involvement in the implementation of the entire management process is key to the excellent results and service offered.
We selectively collect waste and recycle plastic, cardboard, glass and organic waste.
At Hotel Alhambra Palace we go one step further. In addition to offering products and dishes made with local and seasonal raw materials, we produce our own vegetables, spices and fruit. We also prioritise the consumption of organic products. Our prestigious cuisine, rooted in Andalusia, is seasonal and local.
