The theater of Hotel Alhambra Palace has been one of the stages chosen, along with the Alhambra of Granada, declared World Heritage of Humanity, for the filming of the music video in honor of flamenco organized by Latin Grammy.
Our genuine stage adds with this event, one more chapter to the history of the artists who have been in it, since 1910 when it was inaugurated by Alfonso XIII. Among them we highlight those who were regulars in his time, as the poet Federico Garcia Lorca or the musician, Manuel de Falla among many others
Flamenco artists
Flamenco artists such as Lola Indigo, Niña Pastori, or Carmen Linares, winner of the Award for Musical Excellence in 2023, whom we had the pleasure of meeting during the filming at the Hotel Alhambra Palace, participated in the shooting of the video.
The premiere of the audiovisual piece Latin Grammy Session Flamenco, through digital platforms, was also held in Granada and was attended by the current mayor of the city of Granada, Marifran Carazo,
Rocío Díaz, Minister of Development of the Regional Government of Andalucia; Antonio Granada, Government Delegate of Junta de Andalucía in Granada, and Rodrigo Ruiz-Jiménez, general director of the Alhambra and Generalife, among other personalities.
Granada, city of 2023
The year 2023 is undoubtedly being special for the city of Granada. After welcoming as host city the main European leaders in the last European Summit, being Hotel Alhambra Palace one of the reference hotels, our city has been again protagonist.
Alhambra Palace Hotel has been chosen chosen by the Latin Grammy Awards to illustrate an audiovisual tribute to flamenco, a musical genre inherent to the Andalusian cultural legacy that crosses generations and borders.
A special charm
Our little theater has a very special charm. Not only in Granada, not only in the past, but today it is still full of life, art and flamenco and offers visitors who are currently staying at our hotel a show to add to their backpack of experiences and memories lived during their stay in our city.
"Nowhere in the world does the landscape sound like in Granada". Manuel de Falla
